Hope to see you at the Minnow Bucket Marina this Saturday morning for some fantastic fall fishing on Lake Fork. All amateur affordable competition, no lake fork guides or tour/elite pros.

First off Diane and I would like to thank the 21 teams who showed up today and competed on Fork. The weather cooperated and we were able to get the event in with only a sprinkle or two. Our next event is October 26th just two weeks away. Good luck to all of the anglers fishing the Berkley Big Bass event next weekend.

Clown Company just stepped up and will be offering 2 custom fishing shirts like the ones Diane and I wear to the Anglers of The Year as well.

Awesome field of Fork anglers, those guys can hold their own against any group of anglers any where... My money is on that picklefork dude for AOY when it comes down to it. Even solo he's one to reckons with, I promise you that---watch out....

Wow....Thanks Billy. That vote of confidence coming from you means a ton to me. I'm just happy to be able to fish with the list of guys fishin' this series...The Iceman will be joining me for the next one and if we can just get some cold fronts we might have a chance. We are so fortunate to be in a position in life to do this......

Event #2 is next Saturday the 26th out of The Minnow Bucket. Registration begins at 5:40am at the restaurant.

We have decided not to fish this cause of the nasty weather coming in, so I will stay home and eat Chili

We have 4 options. Unfortunately we have little time to notify everyone and some have put time in pre-fishing.

1. Run the event as scheduled.

2. Run the event at a later time the scheduled date. Say 8:30am to 4:30pm. I like this one.

3. Reschedule to next Saturday which is the 30th of Novemeber and is one of the biggest hunting weekends in Texas.

4. Reschedule to a date in January.

3 or 4 work for me.

I am no fair weather fisherman . If I was there would be no reason to tournament fish. It is what it is. Putting it off there is no guarantee the weather will be NY better. I sure didn't want to fish in tournament when it was 100+ and no wind. I think we should change those days as well. Just suck it up. Just my two cents worth.

Tournament will run tomorrow as scheduled. Registration begins at 5:30 am at the Minnow Bucket Restaurant.

I highly recommend toasty toe adhesive heat packs. I place one on the top and one on the bottom of each foot at the toes. They are really thin and have kept my feet warm while fishing in 20 degree weather. I also recommend one on the backside of your glove on each hand if you can fish with gloves.

I loaded up on toasty toes and hand warmers for you guys. Diane will have them at the registration table.

The weather was cool on Lake Fork today but the fishing was hot for the nine teams that came out today. Bass were biting shallow, mid depth and deep today. A few teams reported non stop action all day with one team boating a limit in the first six cast and boating 50+ bass for the day. There were some solid slot fish caught today but no overs.
1st Place Verlon Croney and partner Randy Ingram set the bar high with 5 for 10.52 with a 2.46 BB earning them $480+$80BB
2nd Place Larry and Gregory Allen had 5 for 8.66 earning them $160
3rd Place Troy Clemens and Shawn Burris with 5 for 7.79
