Im sure glade to hear some folks can catch fish in that lake. It gives me a little hope anyway.
One of my favorite lakes! Just takes a good amount of prefishing to compete. I can't wait until I have more time to fish next year!

I agree prefishing is key. I believe in prefishing. It just the last couple times out I have really struggled with that lake.

Thats my take on it, but you know the fish are somewhere. Im just having a difficult time finding them with the low water.

Some of the best sticks out there couldn't get a bite in recent months. Those fish love their shallow cover, which doesn't exists right now

I had a club tournament there last weekend and a lot of fish were caught.
24 lb stringer won. Two 17lb stringers and two 15lb stringers.
I managed to catch 9 keepers for a 12lb bag along with some short fish and had a blast.
Had to just junk fish and throw multiple lures at different structures.
Marina's produced the most fish with some coming on scattered docks here and there.
Caught my fish on Swimbaits (Lake Fork Magic Shads), spinnerbait, Lake Fork CrawTube, crankbait and Senko.
If you just want to catch fish you can always just go to the dam area and throw topwaters and get crushed by the Hybrids.
I don't even try to fish for bass anymore in twok. When i'm there its only to fill up the freezer. Last Saturday My dad, a buddy & me caught 130, sandies, hybrids, yellow bass and cats.

Only time i go to tawakoni is when im fishing for hybrids and sandbass, although i heard the bass fishing is great. My buddies fish it all the time and they say if your not kicking up mud with the trolling motor then your probably not catching any bass.

I can finaly agree with all of you that like the lake. Thanks to the great folks on here, I was able to figure the lake out today and catch some quality fish. I weighed in my 3 fish limit of 12lbs. Not a bad tourney after all.
Thannks Guys!
