1st time since mid 90's that I haven't been there to fish. Went and saw her in febuary just to see water level and give jerry a little business but no fishing for me this year either. That is a ivie bass in my Sig from a few years ago tho.

Can you tell I'm taking my first trip to Ivie this weekend?

Sure hope yall get some rain. The thought of losing a fishery like Ivie is sickening. I remember fishing E.V. Spence when I was a kid. To see that it is completely dry now makes my stomach turn. If anyone has any recent pics, please post.

My bad didnt see the part about this year. Guess thats what happens when you try to read to fast.

Wish i could figure out how to post pics on here from my phone, I caught a 8 and a 8.15 last Saturday. Both were caught on a Pit Boss in Big Texan, 8 to 11 ft. In the trees.

I don,t really care what year you caught them, those are all nice fish! Fish Killer, looks like you may have spent a few days on Ivie. Nice smallie too. I caught my first and only smallie on that lake. I fished the tourny that the lake record smallie was caught. Can't remember the exact weight, 5 something. It was a media west tourny in '09 I believe.

Ivie has been a fetish of mine for the last few years! I try to get down there every weekend I have open I wished I had a place down there

Since the OP said it doesn't matter what year, and since I don't get to brag that often because I'm not that great of a fisherman, here's my Ivie fish. Most of the places they were caught are dry ground now, and each fish a little over 8 pounds. The first one was caught in 2009, the second two in 2010, and the last one in 2011. I haven't boated any biguns this year.
