10.12 Caught at Falcon w/ guide Jay Greishaw

Got out on Falcon for two days last week w/ Jay and the action was, well friggin crazy. Day one, we were able to boat multiple 8's and lingered around 40lbs for best 5. Day two the action gave new meaning to my passion. I hooked one fish that I was hardly able to budge and after 30 seconds or so, she came unbuttoned. Next cast, I found myself hauling a sow up that also evaded the net, she appeared to have been well into DD territory. Two casts later I landed the 10.12, which was just shy of my PB. Needless to say this amount of action in that short amount of time got the adrenaline pumping faster than a fist full of ones in an establishment of questionable character. Jay kept my feet to the fire for two day straight and the only person to blame for a less remarkable report is me. Jay has joined an elite group of guides on Falcon and I think you will soon see more reports from other pleased clients as he gets his name out there more. Thanks for the kind words gentlemen and Jeremy the ones that get away are the ones that bring ya back for another round....I felt awful about both those fish not getting to the scales, it was a MAJOR relief getting that 10.12 on them scales and gotta say I missed the weight of that one by about two pounds....would of bet money that was closer to 12 and change. I think thats why I over shot the weight and when she was out there waging war, she looked like a dang Tarpon....lol. I cant imagine how heavy that fish was pre-spawn.
