How to make your Bass Boat run 3.4 mph faster

I have a Ranger R81VS with a 150 Merc EFI. I ran 55.8 GPS at its best. I brought my boat to Steve at Steves Custom Props on Lake Fork and he did a B&B job with a mirror finish. Ran it today and could get a constant 59.2!! Wow ! Was I totally shocked and it got to 59.2 a lot faster than ever. Thanks Steve for the art work on my prop. That was the best 165.00 I've ever spent.

Steve B&B'd both of my Tempest and the results were outstanding. We are lucky to have him so close.

True~ I actually went in figuring he would get the vibration out, I never never figured he could increase the performance, he let me stand at the door and watch him work and the man is a true Artist !

Besides the prop, have your overweight budy check to make sure the trolling motor is secure when your idling out. Once he's on the bow floor the hot foot. Loosing a couple of hundred pounds will probably gain you 5 MPH!

Had him work mine this past winter and I gained 2 mph which put me at 80 mph where I was wanting to be. FYI don`t run your finger down the leading edge of the blades because it will cut you. Don`t ask me how I know.

im not sure i would ever be comfortable going 80 mph in a boat.

i like my jonboat with a 40lb thrust tm.

Can I mail him my prop and have him do it for me?

You sure can~while I was there he was sending a guys prop back by UPS, only think is how much does it cost to ship a prop. here is his # 9037659000

From Sherman to Steves shop cost me about 15 bucks to ship.

If you want better whole shot and better top speed,dont go to Steve,hes the best at making your boat perform at its best!!!!!

Steve does all my props. Make it a good reason to go to lake fork

to each his own, if my boat only ran 80 there'd be something wrong with it!!!!!
