It only took 40+ years to get a facility suitable for Fork built, not bad.

That's one nice ramp / setup. We should be proud to have that at one of our lakes.
I got to see it for the first time yesterday and it is awesome. I'll probably launch from there when the weather allows it. I wasn't exactly sure where it was but had been following the construction of it as it progressed.

Was there any sort of vendor area set up around the weigh in? I dont see anything in the photos, but thought i may drive over on Sunday for the weigh in depending on what all they have there.

Wow! That’s nice! Where is it located? I have seen the recreation area on 155, but this is 100 times bigger and better! I do outside sales, and I drive through there often. Anybody have cross-roads coordinates?
Thanks!

Look on the maps due south of the rec area on 154. It is on the Caney Penninsula; turn off is fairly close to the boat storage.

Hop, find the service yard if you want to and say hello to my dad Darrell at the Garmin trailer. I think you met him at 407 once, the trailer isn’t wrapped but just ask anyone in the service yard where it’s at.

Yes, several food vendors, a couple plastics vendors, sunglasses, cedar outdoor furniture, some other stuff and all the various fishing vendors.
Is it going to be free or a fee to launch?

It's a free ramp, like all the other SRA ramps.

Tons of area to beach and step on grass.
When John Crews weighed in he said the road to the park of FM 154 was " the best road in all of Texas".

He said you came by and were a nice guy, but he says that about everyone that doesn’t need their boat worked on or want something free lol.

Did they clear any stumps or still need to idle to get to the buoys?

They cleared a boat lane. That one and 1 other are shown on the newer boat lanes chips. About using at night: I didn’t look to see if there are any cameras, if there are not I would be hesitant to use it at night, tucked back into the woods makes it a good target for bad guys.

Be a great venue for the classic if BASS could get past being stuck in their old ways.

How far back to dfw area for a suitable expo location? It’s a full 2 hour drive for the Grand expo.

I also don't this BASS will ever move away from the traditional al weigh in format for more than an event per season.

Worth about the same as 2 Hydra Sport 65 Estrella's. Bass boats are peanuts compared to saltwater rigs.

You can see that at pretty much any crowded ramp/lake these days.
