When do you normally start fishing bubble fry? I have always thrown these in the middle of summer. Also, what colors do you normally throw with brush hog and bubble fry? Primarily fisheries like Fork and Rayburn.

Fluke or baby brush hog with 3/0 or 4/0 round bend, 7'5" heavy E6X with a Lew's wide spool, at most lakes. On Rayburn, throw primarily a plum power worm.

ezbassin, It’s not literally called brown but there she several colors that are brown-ish and they seem to work pretty well. Don’t know the exact names off the top of my head.

Re: Carolina Rigging - 06/18/20 04:12 AM

Cali 420 is the one I find myself using most often, fantastic color that I’ve had decent success with.
