Haven’t tried it in winter yet, but caught a lot this summer on Nichols.

Can't beat CC(Cotton Cordell) spoons and for the price they are great.

Thumbs up on the Joe Spaits
I haven't noticed much of a difference between the brands. Sexy Spoon, Nitro Spoon, Joe Spait's baits and Lake Fork Tackle Spoon have all worked well for me.

I buy my own blanks and make my own. Pretty well the same blanks that the better brands use. Hard to find but identical and a whole lot cheaper to build your own.
I have spoons but never get bit on them...maybe I don't throw them enough or know when or how??? So they stay at home. AAHAHAHAHAH
