10" Powerworm in Motor Oil Red. Caught a 10.14 and 10.12 within 30 minutes of each other in the same spot.

Johnson silver spoon with a frog chunk 1974 10 1/2. I've lost some big ones with a rogue and DB3's. Caught a 22 lb'er on a rattle trap but it was a flat head catfish.

The SOB spinnerbaits are now made by Ryan Coleman out of GA. He bought all of Bill Dees spinnerbait materials and was actually on his pro team. He was the co inventor of the Mini ME spinnerbait, with Bill Dee. Same product, even with the gambler dusts, if you wan tit.

3/4 oz Talon Ookii Hybrid Jig in Black brown and Amber.

Original balsa Big O, not sure what the color back then was called but basically bone colored.

Biggest was on a minnow on an ultra light rod and 6lb. line Crappie fishing on Roberts. I guess the color was silver minnow Fish was longer than my 24" check it stick by an inch or two but I did not have a scale with me.

2nd biggest was on a chart/blue back 6XD at Athens, 8lbs. and change.

Pop-r dont remember color, 12.54 25" over at Fork when I was 12. Next was on a DD22 in Tilapia at Falcon. 11.8 27 3/4" long skinny as a rail.

ummm... where is the 10 pounder?

I got mine on a shad pattern yo zuri crank they don’t make anymore. Private lake near Houston, 3-4 feet deep, weighed 11 pounds and some change. It was surreal, fish didn’t jump once so I thought i was fighting a big catfish until it’s head flipped out of the water maybe a foot from shore.

I’ve caught several certified 9+ pound fish... this year... so I’ve caught, held and seen my share of big fish. I honestly thought the scale I weighed the 10 on was light. She was 27” long and full of shad. Mind you, I’m a big guy. Nay-say all you want, but that fish is 100% a DD.
