Lake Nacogdoches - 08/06/18 08:58 PM

Got an invite to go fish lake Nac this weekend. Neither of us have been there. What should I expect as of cover? Is is a deep lake, or what I should say is does it fish deep? I've done a search and really can't find much out on this lake.

Has pads, hydrilla, and haygrass. North end above power lines has a bunch of timber. Relatively shallow lake, mostly 20-25ft deepest above power lines and about 40 at the deepest near the dam

I grew up fishing the lake. I will tell u this is the time of the year I always did the best for numbers. The first big point past highline eastside. The creek comes in towards point then turns straight out. Fish point and creek ledge with c-rig. We caught 97 off this years ago.
