Have you used them this time of year in tournaments? If so how many tournaments with them so far? Any issues?

Not everyone is going to buy the V2 vents.

Catch and release, ice and a oxygen bottle. You'll never lose a fish. You can order the correct diffuser, hose, and regulator on eBay. Buy the small oxygen tank from a welding supply shop. They just swap it out when it's empty like a propane tank. About $250 for everything depending on tank size. Small price to pay to not lose a fish. 1 dead fish could cost you way more. Plus, the pure oxygen comes out cold which cools the water by itself

I've never heard of this. Isn't pure O2 highly combustible and highly pressurized? How do you stabilize the tank in the boat to make sure it's not get knocked all over the place during runs? Not saying it can't or shouldn't be done, I just haven't heard of it and would have some concerns.

Yes sir. Several derbies in dead of summer with temps 98-102-ish. Hot. All I do is recirculate water. That’s it. I’m impressed with how lively the fish are when I bag em for weigh in. It’s crazy. They’ve won me over. I don’t even use additives unless I have bleeder now. I’m not kidding. It’s pretty incredible.

Lots of guys are running it. When I bought my tank the guy told me tons of guys are doing the same thing. Pretty simple system. I put the tank in some packing foam and secure it in a back compartment. Keep alive systems online gives you all the info you need

I used a couple of brackets like fire extinguisher brackets to secure it. Yes it's pressurized and flammable. But It would take a pretty big fire to cause it to do anything and in that case you've got big problems already.

Mark, I installed them on my boat sixteen months ago. Few really hot tournies on Amistad last year in the summer and fall without mortality. Captained a team this past weekend on Fork with 100+ degree temps and no issues either day. I'd say a dozen total tournaments and haven't lost a fish. I'm not saying they are the only answer, I just figured it was cheap enough to give them a shot, what they claim to do made sense, and why not?

This...the gasoline in your boat is more flammable than the oxygen. The oxygen just makes things burn hotter. The oxygen itself won't just catch fire

yep. $45 for them and install takes about 20 minutes. It's easy. What amazes me is how stubbornly people are against them. If they were $250 I would understand. But they're only $45. They work great and are well worth the money. I have not had a fish die since I installed them. It was a healthy fish dying during a summer derby that got me to try them. Now I am a believer.

Oxygen is not flammable.

High levels of oxygen make it easier for other "fuels" (paper, wood, actual fuel, etc.) to burn more readily, but oxygen alone will not burn.
