Minnkota link remote charging issue

Anyone else having issues with these, they are the same on terrova ulterra ultrex etc.

Im not getting long out of these, having a spare I thought I would be good, but now my spare and main are having issues. They only charge with a lot of pressure on the plug into the unit and it has to be positioned just right.

Ive already warrantied one about 6 months ago, so both of the units I have now with issues are less than 6 months used.

Yes I have experienced this and have also seen it mentioned on another forum somewhere. I can only hope that my new Terrova touch screen remote doesn't have the same issue when it's a few months old.

Is yours the new bluetooth touchscreen model? Or the previous generation?
