Cabin with good Fishing pond within 3 hours conroe?

Looking for a 1 to 3bdrm cabin within 3 hours of conrore with a pond with great fishing. Mainly just taking my young son to catch fish so catching 1 to 2 pound bass is fine they don't have to be Giants...but 4lbers are a plus. Prefer some seclusion so quiet.

Artesian Lakes is perfect for what you are looking for. Very quiet, secluded, and loaded with smaller fish.

Drawbacks are that you need to bring your own flat bottom with a trolling motor, and there are huge alligators in the lakes. Never had them mess with us though. It’s in Romayer Tx.

All of the ones listed are excellent spots. Be sure to ask about there alum. Jon boats available to their customers that stay with them at no extra charge. I believe one of those has the larger jon boat rental with comfortable seats for a long day.

If I wanted to get off shore; then I would take a small trolling motor and battery with me.
