Livewell Divider Question

Livewell Divider Question - 06/11/18 11:53 PM

Had a question for you guys who are more experienced tournament fisherman. My boat has a 32 gallon divided live well. My question is, is it normal when catching a huge fish to have to put it in the livewell where it doesn't have much room? I was considering removing the divider to allow fish to have more room, but then I thought when running around the lake it might actually be less harmful if they are where they can't move much. Also what treatment do y'all recommend putting in the live well throughout the tournament to keep the fish healthy?

I've fished for years but I'm pretty new to this. Thanks guys.

I'd remove the divider to create as much space as possible. Only need a divider if fishing a tournament with a coangler who needs to keep their bass separate.

This is what I did on my old Ranger. I think it helps a lot.
