Can someone give me some vauge info on where the fish are this time of year. I'm used to fishing deep and apparently that's not the case here

You can catch some good fish beating up the docks in Highsaw and Ledbetter. Chimney/Hummey is another good cove for numbers when hitting docks and will give you better access to deeper water off the dock ends and points. Other than that just work the bridges and dam to keep it simple, dont worry about looking for deep creek channels and offshore structure on Palestine.

I've had decent luck fishing in the timber on Palestine at times.
Find some wood with shallow water close by and flip a jig in it.
