No thanks. Lemonis already said he didn’t want me shopping there. Marcus Lemonis: If you're OK with what Trump said, don't shop at my businesses.

I was super surprised to hear they will be the title sponsor for the NASCAR truck series next year, I think this new iteration will be around for awhile.

Lemonis has connections with NASCAR so it isn't surprising. I only tried Gander a few times in Arlington and was never impressed with them as far as selection and price in the fishing department.

Did Trump say something that offended you or was it Lemonis ? Politics never entered into my tackle shopping, it's always been convenience, availability and price.

Lemonis basically said he did not want Trump supporters business.

Well, I guess I'll do what he says, shop somewhere else.

I was there yesterday. In my opinion, The store will close again. A lot of empty space, and a lot of space filled in by the same product. Example, lotsa Rattletraps, but not one red trap or chrome blue back trap. These are "go to baits" down here. Who stocked these shelves?

Looks like they only carry the cheapest rods available, I guess that's what they mean by new lower prices.

The whole back wall is still loaded with the cheapest of rifles. Black plastic stocked rifles and shotguns. Nothing serious but a couple of Weatherby's that no one wants now.

The store clerk said they are still bringing merchandise into the store, but they should have been prepared to be seen with a critical eye after the last fiasco.

I'll give them a year.

Suppose Gander Outdoors will accept the Gander Mountain gift card I got left holding? Hey, the add says "free pastries and coffee"! Who wouldn't drive up there for that?

Well I'm definitely a Trump supporter but if there was a Gander store real close to my house and he was cheaper than Academy, BPS and Walmart on something I needed I might slip in and slip out before he knew it. I wouldn't wear my MAGA shirt though.
