Look what I caught !

I caught this Bass on Lake Bob Sandlin I have fished for bass for over 40 years First time ever seen this. I have caught bass with worms in their mouth, hooks in mouth and some that were beat up by water turkeys. I did remove the last 1/4 inch of worm from the bass and released alive back into the lake. I did save the worm and will be at the local tackle store today trying to buy some today

Seen a lot myself Bill but that's a first for me too. Proves they can't digest everything they eat.

I've never seen one hooked that deep.

That's usually about the time my wife sets the hook...

And this is why you should NEVER throw old plastics into the lake. Bass will pick them up and eat them. Many end up dying from the blockage.

Also makes realize, if they are picking these up off the bottom, while they are just sitting there, you are probably fishing your worm way too fast
