trying to find a specific hook

trying to find a specific hook - 04/16/18 08:36 PM

So I have been looking for this hook for a while now with no luck and it just occurred to me that if anyone knows where to find it someone on here will know. I do not have a picture of the exact hook, but it is very similar to the one below. The only difference is the hook I am looking for as a small slender weighted jighead on it, green in color and usually about 1/8 ounce. If anyone has any idea where to find these please let me know. I really like them for fishing wacky worms a little deeper. Thanks in advance.

Got them hanging on the wall in the shop. Send me your address and $5 for postage and they are all yours. Not sure how many are out there. Probably 20 to 30 dollars worth. Just like the one in the picture; no green weight. Sorry for the edit.

Send a PM. to exchange addresses.

When I want them weighted; I use a light piece of solder wire and wrap the shank.

I have always used these for this exact thing. They are made by Revenge Baits. I also only use their jigs as well. These come in sizes 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4

Eagle Claw seems to have the weights.

That is a gamagatsu weedless hook.
Academy carries them in some stores.

The ones with little green head were at academy. They are weighted wacky jigs, haven't seen them in awhile.

this exactly ..... Academy / Bass pro Shops / Donald Harper

I have been using them for 4 years to fish wacky senkos and trick worms
I use the 3/0 and the 5/0
I use a clam weight (different sizes) crimped on just above the knot to produce different fall rates for the wacky worms.
I also use them on my flukes when I am fishing in grass --- also with clam weights (or weightless)
GREAT HOOKS

Google "flick shake head" and see if you find what you are looking for.

Similar? Not really a jig head but sort of a high keel weight.

This is what you are looking for. The link should take you right to them, but in case not, they are "Gamakatsu Wireguard Worm Hooks" .

Thanks for all the responses guys. Some good suggestions, but still not exactly what I am looking for. I'm guessing they are no longer made.

Academy has Rapala Weedless Wacky...

Though I prefer single fiber weedguards like on the eco-pro tungsten or inichie (sp) heads.
