What is that super thick grass that grows from the shore out to about 6-7 feet? So thick.

Been awhile since I was there but my memory and recollection still thinks it's hydrilla but I'm usually wrong.

Definitely not hydrilla, it stands straight up and comes out of the water a few inches, but man is it thick, and it is not matted, it grows from the bottom, almost impenetrable. Maybe it is coon-tail but doesn't really resemble coon-tail that much
