A Catch&Release! One Nice Pond Bass!

Caught this nice bass fishing on a pond at a East Texas Ranch. Fish was 23" in length. Guessing the weight to be 8 to 9 pounds. Fish was released! Pond fishing some East Texas ranch land. It just don't get any better!

Thanks for all of the replies! Curtis-Laker One: I was told the pond is about 8 to 10 feet deep in the middle. The pond is in pretty good shape with a few reed beds and some grass beds. Pop r: Yes Sir there are some nice Bluegill in that pond for sure. I caught a few nice ones. David Burton: As stated above there are reed beds and some grass beds!

I figured that pond had to have a deep area. Seems to be a great fishing spot! Again super fish.

Thanks Rob W. Dan90210a,and Bissett for the replies! Gitter: That pond had some very nice water with some pretty good grass beds. I was told by the owner that the pond has never been completely dry and has always had ample water! Pond fishing is hard to beat!
