Lake whitney advice

Lake whitney advice - 03/07/18 03:21 AM

Going to make a trip over to lake Whitney this weekend.
Been quite a few years since I have been on that lake.
Plan to do large mouth bass fishing.
Seems to me there were some coves north of the 1713 bridge that had flooded timber.
Is that area still good ?
Or should I stay south of the bridge.
Plan to launch out of Mcown Valley Park.

Thanks

There are bass in every part of the lake at Whitney. Just go fishing it's not a hard lake to catch fish on right now.

I had a decent day Saturday. All shallow on squarebills and powerworms. Friend caught em pretty good on jerkbaits also. Mid-lake coves just SOUTH of bridge is where we fished. Beginning to mid cove. Found nothing in far back end of any cove/Creek. wink
