Hello I'm an avid high school angler with an upcoming derby on buch. any advice on baits, colors, key areas, or things to look out for helps a ton!

First off, are you allowed to receive information before the tournament? Just asking because I don't want you to get DQ'd before it even starts. Just looking out for you.

If so, keep an eye on your GPS. There are lots of long points on that lake. I have caught some big fish in the river. I always flip up there and have had some great days. Lots of rock and buck brush on the main lake. They should bite a squarebill and spinnerbait pretty good this time of year. Shad colors work best.

From what I understand, forums are public information and not against the rules but I also understood elections were honest so there you go.

2 weeks ago, water temp was 49-50, not sure if it’s warmed up much.

Yes I can receive info, it’s not a rule in our highschool tournsments.
