Since all the construction is going on can someone please inform me what ramps are open at Ray Hubbard and if any are public. We have a club tournament in two weeks.
Thank you

John Paul Jones Park is open and public. We used to call it Chaha. North side of the bridge from Bass Pro. Terry Park in Heath is open. Says parking for 29. Ramp is shallow from what I hear, but with the rain we'r about to catch, the lake should be full. JPJ Park can be a little iffy. That's fishin in the hood. We use Chandlers for security. Call them and see if they will give you an off season reduced rate. 10 bucks is worth the peace of mind.

Bayside ramp is open. $20 also on the weekend. The public ramp south of 30 is open, but it is very shallow.

It's worth the 20.00 for having the security around your vehicle. I use Harbor Bay, its centrally located.

How is Robertson Park? I'm headed to Ray Hubbard for the first time on Monday.
It is now a mud-hole with all the rain.

Are you talking about on Miller Rd? If so, they have the entrance blocked off. I live across the street in the newer development.

A week or so ago it was closed then a few days later it was open. Today its closed again. I'm starting to think it depends on the mud if its opened or closed. I noticed the Yak containers are gone so I am wondering if they are about to do something there.

You would think Rowlett would rebuild an actual usable ramp there

I wish...could go from my garage to the ramp in less than a minute!
