good to hear they are finally building a new lake in Texas. Need more but I know its a touchy subject, and can't blame them.

Red River flow east along the Oklahoma/Texas Border

Is it going to be constructed like Fork, timber left standing, brood ponds, etc.. - per say? Or is it too early to tell??

Get up there and take a bunch of pictures before they fill it.
Road trip.... hand held GPS or take a big GPS and start plotting spots in a year or two?

people have been marking gps spots on foot for a few years now. the original announcement was a long time ago.

Heard TPWD is cutting trees and killing grass in preparation for the new lake.

With today's technology (Google earth,etc) it won't be hard to mark anything that's under water. Unless they do some tree cutting and stuff and it doesn't get pictures taken
