I like a shimano curado or up in a 6 ratio.
Shimano Curado 200PG which is their 5.5:1 ratio.

I have almost a dozen old Curado 200 B's in 5.0:1 gear ratio. The last cranking reel was actually a Lews BB1 in 5.1:1 gear ratio. Cranks the big boys VERY well. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Lews BB1 and a low ratio 5.1:1 is best for deep cranking
