My best day on Smallies, and I am usually catch like 1 one per trip was 17 one day.

It was early spring, and very cloudy with periods of rain and mist. I stuck 17 smallies all were nice size up to 3 lbs all off topwaters.

I stuck a handful of largemouth that day as well, biggest going 4lbs.

Back to back THSBA should be between 400-500 boats in two weeks releasing fish in that marina

Is that during Feb to March that they bite like that or do they bite like that all the time? I have never really targeted smallies..
