Hubbard creek lake Breckenridge Texas - 12/26/17 02:45 AM

Im wanting to go fish hubbard creek lake in Breckenridge. Can someone give me some inside notes about this lake. Like areas to stay out of or boat lanes etc etc? Every time i drive by it looks low so didnt know if i could use big motor or not.

Hubbard Creek is only about 2 1/2 foot low after MANY years of extremely low water conditions. Can't give you a good up to date fishing report but ought to be a banner spring, at least in regards to fish survival/restocking.

It is winter so the fishing is kind of tough.
Catch it on one of those unusually warm days and catch some fish on deep rocky banks.

I can't wait for that lake to make a rebound like it was before it got so low . it would be nice to see a way to keep it full of water , and maybe have TPWD approved group to restock it but I'm sure that won't happen.
