Bested by Grapevine today

Wife and I caught maybe 5 with one decent one. Beautiful day. Warm, had some cloud cover for much of it. Enough wind to stir things up a little and mute the light penetration but not troubling for boat handling. The,ps were 62-64 everywhere we ventured . Really should have done bettter - maybe they are feeding more agressively at night with the warmer water and full moon.

May try again next weekend - I know there are fish in that lake.

On Friday the good ones were shallow in caney sticks, right across the lake from entrance into Twin, 2-3ft. I could not catch a good one on deep stuff, just dinks.

Won't make you feel any better but "bested by Grapevine" isn't that rare....for me. Grapevine has always been a bit of a coin toss for me.
