Anybody been out had better luck?

Not much fished about 4 hrs and had 8.

Only a few here and there this morning. Was on a small lake near Fork.

I can tell you how NOT to catch them... or at least not many any not very big... 17 for the weekend nothing over 3

Mid day trip today netted me one stupid fish 🙄 fished points and brush 10-15.

Naconiche yesterday - caught 1 drop shot w arens magic robo, 2 w swim jig brown

Lake Tyler today - caught 8 on senko, biggest 2.5 lb, 2 jig bites under boat docks, no drop shot bite

Fish were definitely eating the senko, shallow at the grass edge, mainly around points and in the backwater

Lake Athens, yesterday, I caught one nice bass in the 4+ pound range . . . though my crappy flip phone camera does it no justice (see below). The rest of my bass looked like large sardines and I caught about 5 in the less than 1 pound range near the 2495 bridge.

I used a Reins Cross Swamp worm (the X-shaped worm) tossed on a wacky rig weightless and caught the one decent bass in 5' deep water in a field of dead lily pads, caught the small bass on a small weightless worm, also shallow.

No luck, not a nibble, when I gave a drop shot a go in deeper water.

I think they have moved deeper, at least on Athens.
