Big bass on fork-no scales - 11/26/17 11:34 PM

Took my son to fork on Friday, hadn't been in five years. He has heard all my stories from when I was younger and had time to fish. Beautiful day turned into 28 bass largest about 2-1/2 pounds til about five pm and we were sitting on a hump in 25', he caught a nice chunk on a spoon then I got a big girl to hit on a c-rig. Guessing around nine pounds. Scale worked day before but would t you know it failed to turn on when needed. Let me know you f someone can post a pic for me and if anyone knows of any good deals on some boga grips. Thanks

I had that happen yesterday, although I am sure yours was a bigger fish. My Rapala failed. What is the best scale you can keep on a boat, those boba grips you mentioned?

Touch screen Rapala with a fish grib is best scale I have used locks in weight very fast and can also store your weights so u can track what ur bag weighs! Congrats on the big fish!! Sure Iyour son will not forget it!

Boga grips in my opinion are great scales but are a bit pricey. I like them since they are a spring scale and require no batteries. I had some for close to 15 years til someone broke in my shop and cleaned out my boat a few years back. I was hoping to get some more on sale somewhere .
