Any of you fellers have a A-rig stick that you love that’s reasonably priced?

Or a Dobyns Fury 795SB is an ace. If throwing REALLY BIG baits try the Fury 806SB. http://dobynsrods.com/rod/fr-795sb/

Great choices above.

or you could get two Okuma Guide Selects (one in Heavy for finesse Arigs and one XH for the big chandeliers)

Diawa - casting rod TDT701MHXB
$60 and it's perfect for an A-Rig
Spend the other $ on A-Rigs, swim baits, and jig heads, don't over think or overpay for it.

I used to be sponsored with Okuma and I have to say the quality is not as good as you can find elsewhere. I broke both (2) of these rods within a couple years! Both options above are good recommendations - it's tough to beat Dobyns! I would also look into the TFO swimbait rods - I have heard only good things TFO Rod

Dobyns Fury 795SB as an excellent A rig rod and it matches up with a bunch of swim baits.
Great add to the rod arsenal.

I've been using a Quantum EXO 7'6" heavy action for the last couple of years, with a Shimano Calcutta 200D for small to medium A-rigs and a 8' Skeet Reese flipping stick with a Anu Garcia Revo Winch for bigger rigs.
I was wondering if you guys thought that I would like a true A-rig rod better than just flippin stick, I've never tried one and was curious if it has a different tip action maybe longer lobs smile
