I am looking into going to Kistler Rods. I am wanting to get I rod for flipping and pitching some lighter Texas rigs. For people with experience with these rods would y’all recommend the helium 3 7’1” med heavy with an extra fast action or the klx 7’3” med heavy with a fast action. I’ve had bad luck with fish throwing the hook with extra fast actions so didn’t know if that could be the case with the helium rod. Thanks in advance

Both of those would be great rods for that.
FYI Kistler has a sale right now for a free rod if you spend $299.
You could get 2 Helium or KLX's for $300 total. Good deal.

It just says it's a Pre-Black Friday sale and "while supplies last" on their website. I would move quick if you're thinking about it.
