thanks opti that is the color on the sending unit but tracker marine has different color wire under the console.

I just installed a trim gauge on a pontoon and the wire I found was tan. It went into an 8 pin white plug brown/white stripe and came out a tan wire. Find the gauge harness connector and check what wire is opposite the brown/ white stripe. Also, make sure the sender is connected under the cowling
