Numbers on boat and motor - 09/01/17 07:33 PM

I have a small plate stamped with 12 numbers on the top right side of my boats transom, does anyone know what these numbers mean or indicate? Also inside my cowling there are 2 numbers one say PIN then 9 numbers then SPN with 5 numbers. What do these number mean?

Important numbers, like model and serial/series numbers. Record them they will come in handy later. Otherwise enjoy your investment. Tight Lines.

Numbers on boat are the hull#. Same as a VIN on vehicles
Motor serial l# should be on the clamp bracket of motor on a plate. Will say serial# *********
As stated above they ARE important. When looking up parts for motor the serial # is vital to get correct parts.
