Gunter Marine closing

Anybody know what happened to Gunter Marine in Fort Worth? It's deserted and has a for sale sign in the window. Did he move or go out of business?

think he's gonna be doin' a few things at his place.. a little service work... said somethin' 'bout it a while back.. jus didn't say "when"....

he replaced my oil pump last month and said he would be building a shop at his home in west ft worth area to work from home once he sold the shop. from our conversation i thought he would only move once he had his shop sold. he ssid the carlot next door had made him a not too realistic offer.

This just tears me up I have known Mark for over 30 years.He is the guy that hired me 30 years ago and got me into the boat business. He taught me if you are going to do something do it right or don't do it at all. Fix it like it was your own boat.I have taken the things I learned from him through my time in this business. He taught me a lot on the black beauties. Oh I did pick up one of his bad habits being a pack rat LOL God bless you Mark
