5 hp Coleman. Anyone else have this problem?

I recently purchased this motor from Sportsmans Warehouse online. It came in, runs good in the barrel, etc. When I looked for the Title slip, I found that none was sent. I contacted them about it and was told that Coleman doesn't send one with the motor, but that it has to be requested. So they have to get it from Coleman, sign it, then send it to me. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever been through. For the last 2 weeks, I have had a $900 paper weight cluttering up my garage because I can't get it registered. I am just about at the end of my rope.

Anyone else have a similar experience with either Coleman or Sportsman Warehouse?

I think they are BSing you. There should have been a Statement of Origin with the motor. Sportsman Warehouse violated the law by selling it to you without the SoO
