there is a guy right at 199 & 183, Gunter marine. I just went in to see what he had going on, hes a Merc only guy I guess because I told him I was running a Yamaha and he herded me over to the props

Why are you in a hurry and ready to pay full blown retail+. You can get the parts in 2-3 days from on-line Mercury dealers at 20 to 40% less. What will really surprise you is that Amazon.com has real competitive prices on lots of outboard motor parts. An example: Last year customer was wanting a Minn Kota 80lb 54in. Fortrex. We were messing around and I entered the part number in stuccu.com. I almost feel out of my chair when it showed who had the best price. Sears, yes Sears had the best price. Boats.net and http://www.marinepartsexpress.com/ are good places to buy parts.

I buy everything I can from local shops, I prefer to keep my money local if at all possible. it may all come from china but I will give guys like Boris in FtWorth my cash 10 times out of 10.
