225 opti max problem

went out yesterday and started and ran fine 5700 rpm started back up and would not get on plane plowing really bad put my son up on the deck and it planned out but would not get over 4800 rpm and would not go over 50mhp

Seen a lot of ignition coil and fuel pump problems these motors. I would start by inspecting the TPS linkage, then check each sparkplug for fire then check the fuel pressure. Fuel pressure regulator.
