1998 mercury 200 efi

Does 98 merc 200 efi have thermostat? Boat is peeing water just fine its just really hot when its coming out, gauge isnt showing its over heating

yes. one on topside of each head.

Easy to diy?

Very easy.

sounds like you don't have a problem.
how do you know it is hot ? gauge, or your finger.
at idle it is about 130-140 out of the thermo's

Isn't it suppose to be hot water coming out? It just cooled a hot engine

Should be warm to the touch but not steaming hot.

Went ahead dropped lower unit changed out impeller now waitn for water pump base assembly it was kinda warped from gettn 2 hot
