Can anyone with a 1998 nitro 700lx with a 90hp tracker( mercury), or anyone with knowledge on these boats, tell me what size and pitch the factory prop was? I currently have a 13.75 x 22 laser II ss three blade prop and it wont get out of the hole.

Lasers are cupped notoriously light in my experience, especially a 22 for a 90 on that boat weight. It should get you a hole shot eventually though. Is it beat up (rough blades, blade alignment, etc.)?

I had a yamaha 90 that did great with a 17. I'd say the pitch is too big. In case you want to try the 17, I still have it.

Garland, mesquite area. I used the prop on my 115 HP mercury. Just have to get the right hub. It would get me out of the hole but no top end. I've gone to a modified 19.
