Evinrude 150 HO Fuel Injector Please Help! - 07/19/15 12:16 AM
Looking for some advice. I'm on a fishing trip. Boat Wouldn't go over 3000 rpm's. so we couldn't get on plane. I brought it to the the marina this morning and they said that the. #3 fuel injector was bad. They can not get a replacement for three days!!!
What harm can I do still running the motor at idle so we can still fish. Is this really stupid. We just don't want to leave our trip. We can't get up on plane but can still get around the lake at idle. I just don't want to mess the engine up. It only has 100 hours on it.
Any stories or advice is greatly appreciated.
