Fuel tank sender ?

Left tank is not reading after filling with gas on Saturday. I am wondering if I should even bother taking it out and testing or just order a new one. I have not had gas in the tank for several months I think the float probably has a pinhole. That is if it is hollow and not solid.

Jump across to sender post from the ground with key on, if gauge pegs out sender is bad.

just go to academy and get a new one, have one in my champion for over 3 yrs now and it works great. once adjusted mine is accurate too.

Did not know Academy has them. I saw some on Amazon. I need to measure the depth of the tank. Nothing that needs to be fixed right away since I have one working.
