Spun Hub>?

This weekend while I was out with some friends on my boat I started having issues. I have a 2006 Mercruiser 4.3 on my Tahoe Deck boat. When taking off it took a good while to get up on plane. When I was alone it got up ok but not great. I have had a boatload before and not these problems. The rpms were around 3000 for a good while until it planned out then it got up to 42-4500. My buddy thinks I might have a spun hub. I had my prop fixed a while back because I gouged it and they tested the hub and said it was fine. Any ideas?

did you trim it out and find the sweet spot.. if your hub was slipping u likely wouldnt get on plane with a boatload of people. Deck boats push water like a barge.. AND most are heavy as a schoolbus

has it ever ran 'good' since the prop job...

I have spun 2 and both times I could not get close to getting on plane.

I have had the boat for 10 yrs. I am familiar with how it should run. Thanks anyway!!



Yes it ran fine the first 3 times out but not the last two.
