Mercury 150 link and sync - 05/09/15 02:56 AM

Can anyone help me with the link and sync on Black Max 150 1983 model. I try it like the manual says and still takes a while to get on plane. I think it's close but still needs some help.
Thanks Guys!

oem or after market manual?
been this way since ya got it or is this something new (slow ta plane)? what have ya done as in tryin' ta fix it?

any of this stuff checked...
compression?
fuel delivery?
electrical?
are ya familiar with names/location all tha parts involved? I can give ya a step by step but ya gotta know 'xactly where/what i'm talkin' 'bout.....

Aftermarket manual. I am somewhat familiar with the parts involved. It's been a slowly developing problem. Sometimes it goes up on plane fine, sometimes not. All other factors check out OK. I'm down to thinking it's a synch problem now.
Thanks in advance for the help!

if ya plan on keepin' it a while suggest ya get an oem... after markets suck period.
sounds more like a fuel problem than electrical... 'lectrices usually work or not.. but there's always an exception with merc stuff so all needs ta be checked.. so if it was all good at one time and ya changed nothing then timin'/link, sync won't change unless something broke/came loose...
