1991 johnson 175 fast strike.

I have a 1991 stratos with a 175 Johnson fast strike. its leaking fuel from somewhere but is still running. it doesn't have the power it should. The fuel filter is not trashed. but the alarm is on constantly and wont shut off till the key is off. alarm says fuel restriction but there's nothing in the filter. may be missing something. thanks for yalls input.

I have a 1998 FS 175. Mine had the fuel restriction alarm on when I bought the boat. Went through the lines and there was a kink in the line. Fixed the kink and no more alarm.


Make sure you don't have a kink in the line past the filter.

I also pulled my entire fuel tank out and you would not believe the crud inside that thing. I would recommend to anyone with an older boat if you haven't done it in a while. TFF Post
