Where to store boat while fixing trailer - DFW - 06/19/18 04:41 PM

I have some work to do on my trailer. I can get the job done in 24 hours, but I need a place to leave the boat while I am getting it done.
What’s the best way to go about this? I live in the DFW area, 16 foot aluminum, 40 hp outboard.

I had to work on mine. I went to a tire store and got a bunch of junk tires. Set my boat on those.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking, do you know of any marinas near DFW that will let you pay to use a slip for just a day or two?

Lake Lewisville has a few, but not sure if you can rent by the night. Also 2 on Lavon.

What work are you doing? I put all new bunk boards on my trailer with the boat still on the trailer. I just jacked up each side and swapped the boards out one at a time. I had the boards cut and carpeted ahead of time.
