Trolling motor only 3/5 speeds work

I need some help. My motorguide trolling motor will only work on 3/5 speeds in 12/24 volt I replaced the speed switch and still nothing also replaced the pedal switch. I had two wires the other day in the head over heat and melted together. I re soldered connectors on them and still nothing so I’m stumped now any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like an old Motorguide Brute that the speed controller in the motor goes out and only works on high. Not repairable.

It’s a hyperdrive. I don’t know if that makes a difference

I’m still getting 12 and 24 volt out of the 2, 4 and 5 speeds
