Oklahoma tagged motor/tuffskinz motor cover?

You have to tag the outboard motor and place the registration decal on the tol of the motor on the port side and wrap it around the back. What do you guys do that run the breathable motor covers? Have you had any problems with G.W.'s Do you put the decal below the bottom of the cover or just have to take the cover off if you get checked?

When I lived in OK, I just put my cover on and the decal in the glove box in case I got checked.
