Supplies for Rod Guide Repair - 06/21/17 09:06 PM

I have several rods with guides missing and I'm going to have at repairing them myself. These are all baitcasting rods used for bass fishing.

Could y'all help me out with supplies? Things like:

- What size of thread wrap to use

- What type of epoxy to use

- Which brand of rod guides are good

- Do I really need a rod dryer?

Any tips and tricks would also be much appreciated.

There's certainly plenty at Mud Hole, but not having done this before, it's hard to know really what I need... like what type of thread wrap do I use for normal, baitcasting rods?
