Concept A reel in saltwater - 05/07/17 05:20 PM

Has anybody used this reel in saltwater for a long time and can give some input on how it's holding up? I have the concept c and it's a good reel, but looking for another reel to put on a Waterloo rod I got recently.

Buddy went through 2 of the A's in a week.. Throughly cleaned and everything. I just decided to get the Concept TX but if you want a good saltwater 13 get a C or TX. If not, find a Lews. The A is no go brother!

The Abu's are endorsed by the Energizer Bunny. They just keep going and going.

The old Ambassadors do for sure! I was thinking about getting a Revo Inshore but read a lot of reviews with complaints of corrosion after only a few months, so turned away. Got a Concept TX instead.

If I fished only freshwater then I'd probably load up with Abu! But I haven't seen any of their new reels be able to take the saltwater like Lews and Shimano
